About Germaniva
We built Germaniva so you can learn German in a calm, practical way: hear it, read it, and check what stayed.
Germaniva is an independent learning site for German, from A1 to C2. The aim is simple: you should be able to follow real German without getting lost. Each story has a voice. While a line is read, a quieter English line appears under it. If you rest the mouse on a word, you see the article and a short meaning, right there in the text.
The same idea runs through the rest of the site. Vocabulary is shown with a German sentence and an English sentence. From B1, a short German note explains the word and is not read aloud. There are pages for daily life in Germany, idioms with their real meaning, stories for children, driving-theory signs, and the citizenship test. After reading, you can train and take a short test.
Levels stay separate. A1 and A2 stay clear and everyday. B1 and B2 add opinion, offices, and work. C1 and C2 use longer, more precise German. You always know which level you are in.
Germaniva is a custom-built website. The pages are written directly, without a heavy application in front of them, so they open quickly and stay easy to read. That speed is part of the learning: less waiting, more German.
